As a wholesale store, the price doesn't get any cheaper. The meat section is always fresh and priced well, making Costco the best place to 'stock up' on items. However, the store has a strong tendency to move items around to make sure you have to look for the items you want, leaving room for impulse buying if the customer is not careful. This would be fine, and not an uncommon practice, if some items didn't stop getting stocked, leaving the customer to look through the entire store for an item that no longer exists. As a whole-sale store, I'd imagine the company is no longer able to stock the item at an affordable whole-sale price, but coupling this with a constant rotation of shelves and no notification where the item was once stocked leaves the consumer going through every aisle, only to find out from customer service the item is no longer stocked.
I have found the employees to be extremely helpful, whether helping me find a product or correcting a problem. I cannot give the fifth star because of physical limitations. The store lacks a gas station, which I really miss. The smaller size of the store means the variety is slightly limited.
I came because my tires were low as a result of the cold weather. The staff at the tire center took care of my tires and would not even take a tip. I was so happy with the service I wound up spending a bunch stocking up on sundries. Thanks Costco!
Clean, easy to access location for bulk goods. Best to go during off peak hours as this location can get crowded with long lines. Early morning and evenings are less crowded and great for quick trips.
I am a new member and find it difficult to find things I am shopping for. There's not enough employees on the floor to assist shoppers and the lines are always too long at the cashiers all the time. But I do love the prices and the opportunity to try things before I buy. The sample stations are always rotated which allows for more variety. The pumpkin pie is awesome. Can't make it at that price and it is huge, for $6.00 you can't beat it.
My praise for the pharmacy is over the top. They are willing to work with me and my multitude of prescriptions. The employees in the tire department are just as helpful.
