I called Wednesday to report a lock not working on my mailbox located in Woodhollow. They called this morning and said that it was done and to pick up keys at the PO.
The keys were disgustingly dirty or should I say filthy. Yes, they did open my box after I took them home and scrubbed them to at least get the filth off. The woman behind the counter even took a picture of them. We just stared at the keys in amazement. I guess that is how USPS is saving money!?!

I may be the only person who likes getting the Thursday store circular bulk drop. Never had a problem receiving this drop weekly with our prior postman. Now it can be months where I don't see this weekly delivery. We call and report and they'll be delivered for the next week or so then it'll stop again for months. Clearly, the carrier is throwing out this bulk paid delivery pkg cause he/she doesn't want to handle or carry it. I checked with my local grocery store and they said they are indeed paying for this delivery. I don't think they'd be happy to know their mailings end up in the dumpster at NW post office.
We lost our "professional" mailman about 5 years ago and service has really suffered. We have a curb-side box and they cram packages and even smaller boxes into the mailbox. Today's delivery, I could barely extract a package from the box. Instead of taking bigger boxes up to our covered front porch (like our older mailman did) they just leave em on the ground by the post where dogs pee. My favorite was my daughter graduation photos in a package seriously marked as photographs and do not bend. The carrier rolled it up like a joint and stuffed it into our box. It's clearly a case of you get what you pay for. I would prefer all of deliveries be handled by either FedEx or UPS.
Service has always been wonderful at this location until today.
We have all had issues in our neighborhood with not getting our deliveries. Our mail winds up in mailboxes up the road, my son has Amazon orders that are delivered in boxes that do not fit in the mailbox and the mailman will not deliver the package to the correct house. My house is behind my neighbor's house and I guess the mailman doesn't want to go all the way up the driveway so my packages get dropped off at the house in front of us. I get notifications that my packages have been delivered (I get large boxes from my company on a regular basis and they are time sensitive for customers) and have no idea where they are. I walk around my house trying to find my packages, when it's not there I have to go to my neighbor's house and search all around there to see if my boxes are there. I should not have to search other people's properties for my mail and packages. I'm not happy. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the person I spoke with over the phone was nice.
We often get misdirected mail. Like our neighbors property tax bill (kinda important) the other week. One day it was so bad that I sent my daughter out on a mission cause we had the entire blocks mail stuffed in our box.
Worst worst service i was at home to receive my important certified mail but no one showed up and left letter saying authorised person unavailable
